Nido and Snugly wraps (0/6m) fold around a newborn, and multi-function covers (0/18m) snap onto a car seat, stroller or front carrier.

How warm are Deux par Deux bunting bags and footmuffs?

The bunting bags list 227 g polyester insulation rated to -20°C (-4°F), and the evolutive footmuffs are also rated to -20°C. The Nido wraps and multi-function covers use 170 g washed polyester that Deux par Deux rates to 0°C (32°F), so they suit fall and early-winter outings. Bunting bags, wraps and covers list a 5,000 mm waterproof, 5,000 g/m²/24h breathable shell.

Can I use a bunting bag or footmuff in a car seat?

Deux par Deux lists every style here as adapted for car seats and strollers. The bunting bag's back detaches so the harness sits directly on baby, while footmuffs and wraps have openings for the harness straps and a bottom zipper for the buckle. Always follow your car seat manufacturer's guidance on winter clothing.

What size bunting bag or footmuff does my baby need?

Each style comes in one size. Wraps fit 0/6m, bunting bags fit 0/9m (the brand size guide lists 55 to 70 cm, or 21.75 to 27.5 in), and multi-function covers fit 0/18m. If you want one cover that lasts past the first winter, the evolutive footmuff covers 3 months to 2 years, and its length adjusts as your baby grows. Do I still need a snowsuit if I have a bunting bag?

A bunting bag or footmuff stays with the car seat or stroller, so once your baby is out of it and playing in the snow, a wearable suit takes over. Compare baby girls snowsuits and baby boys snowsuits, and add hats and mitts from kids gloves and mittens.
