A front panel opens so less padding sits at the torso and shoulders, between the harness and your baby, while a water-resistant zipper at the crotch lets the buckle come through and close directly against the body. An internal adjustable waist takes up extra room inside the suit. Warmth comes from compressible synthetic down that the brand rates to -20°C (-4°F), with 57 g in the hood, 198 g in the body and 142 g in the sleeves. Inside, velour covers the body while sherpa lines both the hood and the fold-over cuffs and ankles that close over little hands and feet. Outside, the coating holds back 5,000 mm of water pressure while letting 5,000 g/m²/24h of moisture escape, and Deux par Deux finishes the recycled-polyester fabric with BIONIC-FINISH®ECO, which contains no fluorocarbons. The faux-fur trim around the hood comes off, a snow guard is built into the hood, a kangaroo pocket sits on the front, and a sherpa neckwarmer lined with velour is included.
