Winter Peruvian Knit Hat With Pompom Dark Turquoise

This colorway of the boys' Peruvian hat is dark turquoise. It shows a teal Fair Isle band of white motifs and zigzags above a navy knit base. A royal blue pompom and braided ear-flap ties finish the hat, which comes in sizes 2/4, 5/8 and 10/14. Ski hills and frosty bus stops are where the tie-down ear flaps of this Fair Isle hat earn their keep. Teal Fair Isle motifs on a navy base set this dark turquoise toque apart from plain winter hats.

The teal, white and navy yarns of this Fair Isle shell are 100% acrylic. Under the shell, the crown and both flaps are filled with soft fleece made of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. Royal blue braids with tassel ends dangle from each flap so the turquoise hat stays put when tied. A delicate cold-water machine wash is suggested for this teal and navy knit; keep it out of the dryer and never bleach or iron it.

The royal blue braids and pompom are easy to spot against a plain navy ski jacket from boys' winter clothing. Under the dark turquoise toque, a jacket and snow pants from boys' snowsuits round out his ski-lesson gear.
